Creating Joy Through Live Music
"The performers were excellent at communicating with the children and encouraged them to get involved, dance and sing along. The music session encouraged a few patients to come into the playroom and listen, who would otherwise would have stayed in their beds. It was also lovely the way the performers went in to individual bays so that all patients could feel involved."
We welcome opportunities to meet with groups and give talks about the work of Music in Hospitals.
All our talks are centered around our mission to improve the quality of life for people with all kinds of illness and disability through the joy and therapeutic benefits of professionally performed live music in hospitals, hospices, day care centres, special needs schools, nursing and residential homes. We will also share our DVD showing concerts footage and interviews with concert recipients, healthcare staff and some of our musicians.
We do not normally charge a fee for our Talk but would welcome a donation towards the work of Music in Hospitals.
To arrange a Talk please contact our Chief Executive, Steve Rowland-Jones, on 01932 260810 or via email.
